My eldest suggested a ride when he got home from work... so presently I the middle of a short loop at the local park.

Thanks, monkeys. I love you guys. It was a hot day for a marathon. I hung in there and had a good run. I requalified for next year by 8:01, so I'll be back! Relative to my goal (3:10), I did much better than most people I know who ran today. I finished in the top 23%. I'm sore as hell.
