All family and friends' holiday plans now shelved for safety sake. I knew that was coming, but still.

Coffee and work.
Gotta do this. Trumper family won't be happy.

Here. Busy day of work.

Well, so much for that. Wifes car apparently wont start.
When was last time you guys drove it? The Forester battery died because we just didn't drive it for 4 months after the mountain shut down. I end up buying a red top to replace the whatever f****** brand I had before.

Saturday. I'm guessing the battery just crapped out. Relatively certain its OEM, so we've gotten our moneys worth, if that's all it is.

breakfast break is almost over. Really don't want to finish my shift. I am still enjoying the fact that for a intensive purposes the MIL is gone from my life. Ruth actually considered letting her move in here until the MIL said she would rather die than live with two Liberals. I was willing to go drop her off on a iceberg to facilitate that.....

So funny that for a woman that claims to hate socialism is now going to be living in low income subsidized senior housing with Medicare as her health insurance. typical delusional Trumper

Hers is a 2016 CX-5, right? That would be a bit ironic, as the OEM battery in my wife's 2016 CX-5 died 3 or so weeks ago.
Yes, actually.

If that's the case, you should also be aware that the belt will almost definitly come apart somewhere about 75-80K miles. There are 3, CX-5 owners here at the hangar who have all experienced this. It's on my agenda to replace ours very soon, as her car sits right about 70k right now. You do have to pull the RH Front wheel and wheel well covers to gain access, unless you have 3 elbows.
