Nah, the translucent scales are not celluloid and the blade is covered with just a slight patina, I bought it like that 10 years ago. I have another blade that was in celluloid scales and that has been consumed by the acid, the damage looks very very different.

I have two or three inox razors, one in celluloid scales that its carbon steel sibling succumbed to. Not bad shavers but I prefer high carbon steel by a large margin.
