How is this different from most other days?Today is one of those days where I would be happy to watch the world burn.

I thought it was @CrabJoe StretchPants who liked it in the butt?I assume these are relics from jon's put things in your butt phase
I’m only accepting donations of complete sets of Abbey tools currently.send them to @rideit - i hear he'll make something artistic out of them!
just put some stuff up your ass instead.Today is one of those days where I would be happy to watch the world burn.
probably explains why you don't have more kids yetYes. I'm into pegging. Everybody knows that.
To be fair, jon just seemed to want other people to put things in their butts, some things never change. How is this different from most other days?
butt stuffTo be fair, jon just seemed to want other people to out things in their butts, some things never change.
jesus, twice in one day?! be careful out there...Fuck this shit. Myself a 3 other drivers just missed getting taken out my a minivan running a red light
Speaking of which, what can we do with these allen keys?
I have two sets of Bondhus ones that are useless, as I lost the 6mm for both and the 4/5mm have both worn down over time.
True cutting them off or replacing is one idea.If the allen keys in question are made of hex stock like most are, cut the end off, now it's not worn out anymore. Or just quit being a cheapass and throw them away and/or buy replacements for the worn out ones https://www.mcmaster.com/allen-keys/l-keys-9/
I think he's in the Ridemonkey Strava Club... Don't want to out him publicly... But I think you're on there too?hey does anyone know @Jm_ 's real name? he's doing the iditarod trail race, there's a thread in the xc forum keeping track of the race
@jonKranked is too cool for us Strava monkeys.I think he's in the Ridemonkey Strava Club... Don't want to out him publicly... But I think you're on there too?
Segment time dick-waving isn't necessary with Strava. Take that away and it's like Garmin Connect only more useful and accepting of more data sources (from Garmin, from their Watch or phone apps directly), via file import, via other APIs).strava = kill list
since i already have garmin it sounds awfully redundant.Segment time dick-waving isn't necessary with Strava. Take that away and it's like Garmin Connect only more useful and accepting of more data sources (from Garmin, from their Watch or phone apps directly), via file import, via other APIs).
This way I can give thumbs up to people on my feed who get there via TrainerRoad, Zwift, Peloton, etc. as well.since i already have garmin it sounds awfully redundant.

I don't own a Garmin, and I'm finding it hard to justify shelling out for one. Strava is perfect for logging miles ridden, giving thumbs up, and seeing how fast it's possible to ride a particular section.since i already have garmin it sounds awfully redundant.
If you're recording via Strava on your phone, the main thing a Garmin will give you is redundancy in not wearing out your phone battery so its still functional if you need to make an emergency phone call.I don't own a Garmin, and I'm finding it hard to justify shelling out for one. Strava is perfect for logging miles ridden, giving thumbs up, and seeing how fast it's possible to ride a particular section.
EDIT: Am I missing out on anything by not having a Garmin? Other than perhaps stroking one out to my FTP numbers?
Angle grinder or a Dremel FTWLol, if you can cut the worn ends off of your hex keys with a hacksaw, then they aren’t hardened steel. Just square up the ends with a grinder or belt sander.
for once, angle grinder is the appropriate answer.Angle grinder or a Dremel FTW
I hope you unplug it first.I also usually dunk the angle grinder in a bucket of water after cutting.
On principle, I don't thumbs up anything that wasn't done out of doors. This way I can give thumbs up to people on my feed who get there via TrainerRoad, Zwift, Peloton, etc. as well.
I have mixed feeling about today. We are done with our 30 days with no alcohol so I was able to drink a nice strong IPA, on the other hand I had promised my girlfriend that I would do 30 days of yoga with her. Have a girlfriend they said...A good day turned into a shitty day. I tried my best. New day tomorrow.
What do you mean? Do you not use it for working on your suspension fork? Asking for a friend....for once, angle grinder is the appropriate answer.
This is why I never loan tools.I also usually dunk the angle grinder in a bucket of water after cutting.
For me, the convenience of having topo maps, marked trails and my track right on my wrist is invaluable. Fuck riding with a phone in my pocket and taking it out every time I want to see where I am.I don't own a Garmin, and I'm finding it hard to justify shelling out for one. Strava is perfect for logging miles ridden, giving thumbs up, and seeing how fast it's possible to ride a particular section.
