Hi,
I've noticed an older 2006 post on the subject but the sizing seems different than what it is today.

I'm considering buying the EC-D '08 but was wondering if anyone about 6'2" has experience riding them? I think I'm borderline between M & L sizes and wanted to get someone's experience-based opinion. Go for the large, I'm 6' 1" and it fits me.

Which model year do you own? I think the sizing changed, at least between '06 and '08.

I'm not going for the Boot'r mainly due to price - I think the EC-D is a little cheaper overall. I would get the Boot'r team (I don't like the standard Boot'r component) over the EC-D, but it looks like it would set me back by about $1K, and I'm not sure it's worth the difference.

If you're getting an 08 EC-D get the large. And the boot'r is worth the difference, both really fun bikes but the Boot'r cut down on weight and it rides a bit better.

I'm still thinking of getting the EC-D (Large) just because of price. I don't own any DH/FR rig so I'm sure the new experience will outweigh any drawbacks that the specific bike has. When I see that I'm using it more than six times a year I'll consider upgrading to a better ride.
