size? price range?
Uh, $500 or less, unless I can be convinced to go a little more, limited video needed, and as big as I can get. Not so keen on widescreen, maybe 20, 21"?? I really know nothing about this stuff...

I'm a fan of the Dell monitors they are on sale at the moment too. The 19" is round about $250 at the moment. I also love the way the Apples look, I'm on the verge of buying a 30" for no other reason than they look so cool. Picture on Apple and Dell monitors seems about equal.

OG, there's a thread in the Tech forum about this right now. Take a look :)

As always, I'm a convert to flat panels only after looking at how nice my Dell 1905FP is. I previously wasn't a very big fan but damn... this monitor is sweet. Just do yourself a favor and don't buy a sub-$200 Princeton or something. Stick with the high end models - Dell makes several nice ones in varying sizes. Apple and Gateway both make some good monitors as well.

The 20" widescreen is currently on sale. Coupons can be had off eBay that will net you another $20 or $30 off.
