what say the monkey about monkeylectric? i'm almost tempted to further bastardize my commuter bike and add these on for kicks and, ostensibly, for safety.

Can you make them make pentagrams? I want my commuter bike to scream "I worship Satan."

    Kinda cool.

But you know the saying "look at the rock, hit the rock"? What if drivers just stare at you?

Still, it'll light you up fairly well if you do a lot of night riding...

You can zip-tie battery powered christmas lights to your spokes and get a similar effect.

Zip-tie the battery pack around the hub and lace the strand outwards, securing it with more zip-ties as you go.

When it rotates it looks pretty cool and makes dogs go nuts when you roll by.

all these seem overpriced. sad. hokeyspokes are $30 per "blade", and monkeylectric is $65 for a single unit. blah. daytime enthusiasm has faded.
