I'm pulling for a comeback from one of two people: Gwin or Peaty. Either way I want to see on of them win by 6-7+ seconds.
I t won't be Peaty. He is missing MSA for the first time since 1997 or so.

Peaty isn't going to be at MSA?!
probably still shaken up...he isn't a young lad anymore.

*edit - go to 3min 4secs - apparently youtube timecode doesn't work for embedding here.

Peaty has to help his parents out with something at home. No biggie.

If you have Harry Malloy on your Dirt fantasy team, might want to scratch him too. Whacked his head pretty good - maybe he'll try to man-up and race, but he probably shouldn't.

Here's my photos from today - MSA WC Thursday Aug 8, 2013 - a set on Flickr

I particularly like this one of Pascal Bernat Gaurdia

So it would appear that the course has been drenched and chopped to bits by practice.

Stevie goes fastest in timed practice.

This is thrilling news

Well, I'm not sure exactly what is happening at MSA, but it is pouring rain 4-5 hrs south here in NH. Should make things interesting.

in about two weeks, it's as fast as I'll go! Sorry, I love watching fast guys race bikes down challenging terrain. If I wanted to watch matching kits zip down highways, I'd go to highland!

Given the MSA tracks' motorway character the pilots will need to up their Bar to avoid punctures.
I expect the rocks will also destroy lots of rear mechs.

Looking forward to an epic race.
