IMHO Zipps are worth the $$$$. I can tell a huge diff between Zipps and other wheels. They have been several other supposed upgrades over the years that honestly seemed to make no difference to me.

i always shy away from them when considering wheels due to weight. are the new ones lighter?
1590g total. 5g heavier actually. Not a value by anymeans. But if you have the coin for a cool set of race wheels then you should consider them for sure.
