I know with "normal" carbon fiber when sanding and such it's not the dust from the fibers that's a health hazard it's sanding the resin that's the problem. I know those brakes don't have resin (like "normal" CF), they are essentially sintered carbon/boron/ceramic material - in races where they changed the tires (last year) you would see a huge cloud of dust when the air wrench was taking off the old tire..........I don't think I'd want to breath that in regularly.

MS has probably inhaled more of that stuff than anyone else on the field...I wonder if down the road he'll start to experience some health issues because of it. As it is right now, he's probably one of the fittest guys on the grid.
