I still can't get my E4's to stop rubbing, I've tried all sorts of different washers and pushing the pads back in. Nothing seems to help. One thing I notice is the srpings kind of puch the pads into the rotor a little, maybe I should try it without the springs? Or are they return springs? Nothing I've tried has helped though, and when I say they rub I mean I spin the wheel fairly fast and it stops within a revolution or two every time.

not sure how old are your e4s or which batch are they...but Hope has a new leaf spring to replace the old that somewhat pushes the lower part of the pads into the rotor (rub) and cause uneven pad wear (and rubbing)...
On the old spring, I always remove it bec it really just pushes the lower portion of the pads onto the rotor...
I also wrote a rebuild guide for Hopes brake in the mechanic's forum..check it out as it also applies to E4s

Thanks for the tips orven. So hope has a new style spring that doesn't push the bottom of the pad in? I think my E4's must be the older style because my springs do just that. I cleaned off the pistons with wd-40 and hopefully it'll help....just as soon as I find my new brake pads, they ran off on me  I did clean the pistons on my front brake before I installed it and it's rub free :D so hopefully it'll work on the rear.
