Wait, I'm confused the article is from the New York Times and everyone knows they are the pawns of people like Moore. What am I supposed to think N8?

Filmmaker Michael Moore receiving death threats
MSNBC May 27, 2004

Michael Moore’s controversial documentary hasn’t even been seen in the U.S. — but that isn’t stopping Moore-bashers.

The gadfly filmmaker has been getting death threats over “Fahrenheit 9/11,” says a source. “People have been flaming his Web site,” says a source. “Really ugly stuff.”

Moore’s reps didn’t return calls for comment, but another Moore source, who knows nothing of the current threats, sighed, “I wouldn’t be surprised. He got threats after ‘Bowling for Columbine.’ ”

Meanwhile, someone is trying to make a documentary called “Michael Moore Hates America.” That filmmaker, Mike Wilson, is complaining on his Web site that he can’t get Moore to sit down for an interview.

I love Wilson's Idea, although it has been doen before. When Moore had a Cable TV show he 'documented' some guy who didn't appreciate it. That guy started to follow Moore with a camera, and Moore tried to sue him for it. Damn, I love Irony... and Moore lost the case!!!

I actually really like Moore... sometimes. He just tends to takes things too far, and that kills his credability.

my only problem with Moore, other than the fact that he's a fat opinionated blowhard, is that he bills himself as a "documentary filmmaker" and his movies have nothing to do with the truth. How the hell did BfC win an oscar for "Best Documentary"? aren't documentaries supposed to have something to do with facts and reality? it was all staged scenes and creative editing. it was like the time on the simpsons when kent brockman edited an interview with homer to make it look like he said crazy chit, and you could see the clock jumping around in the background. good entertainment? maybe. a documentary? not by a long shot.

Although I've always loved your tag line (originally saw it as a bumper sticker growing up in New England)... makes me think you didn't go see the movie with an open mind, that is if you saw it.

That wasn't Kent Brockman, it was the Simpsons version of "Hard Copy" :p
