In a van.... down by the river
What a great morning for a ride. Front Range. 1500 feet of doubletrack climb followed by 1500 feet of singletrack goodness back to the bottom. A trail in a metro area of 2+ million people.

Number of people seen: 0
Number of mule deer seen: at least a dozen
Number of rabbits seen: 2

Nice and cool at the start, then warmed up nicely for the descent. Lots of tight switchbacks on the way down followed by buff singletrack followed by a nice technical rocky/stream section in a gully at the end. I think I'll do it again next week. :D

Went for a ride last night.

People seen - about 10, only at trail junctions.
Didnt see any deer
Dogs seen - 2
Rabbits seen - cant remember, there were lots of them. Probably saw more rabbits than people

It was a good ride, I might go on another tonight but take a different route.

Hmmmm. Double-track up and singletrack down? Doesn't sound like anything I've ridden here yet. Doesn't sound like Dakota Ridge, Mt Falcon, Chimney Gulch, Apex, Green Mtn or Waterton Canyon.

PM me if you care to share...

Glad to see you managed to get your butt out of bed before 5:30 this morning! (or at least early enough to ride)

Sounds like the perfect morning ride!
