Hmmm.I've always ridden RockShox.
Had '96 Quadra 21R,'96 Judy SL,'98 Judy XL,'98 Boxxer Pro,'00 Judy XC.
I think that from about '00 onwards they seem to have got things right with the hydro coil systems. The Boxxers have always been good forks cos they are like marzocchi's.
Manitou never really did it for me.Always kinda light on the travel side of things.Plus all my friends who have had them have had nothing but trouble with them.
Marzocchi seem to be good forks but are a little on the expensive side for what I want.
Cannondale.Head shock good,Lefty innovative.Head shock would be cool if you could get about four inches of travel out of it.Good race setup though.
At the moment I'm running a '00 Judy XC setup in 100mm travel mode and it's been great.Changed the oil for a heavier weight cos you cant externaly alter the damping.Spot on for the little money it cost.Boxxers are still going strong, need new seals though so I may get the travel upgrade to seven inches:D
