That is too funny... Especially seeing it poured into a Hill Farmstead glass.
No, but I’m not a big fan of the IPA dick-swinging contest to see who can make the most gasoline-tasting beer. I like a good one every once and awhile, like Pliney, but much of the IPA stuff is just unbalanced and one-dimensional. There are lots of good beers in the US. These days there really aren’t many borders (cross my fingers). We can get stuff locally from Europe these days that used to just be legend 20-30 years ago.Does 90% of American craft beer taste like fruit with a hint of beer? I have given up on Australian craft beers, figured if they all taste like fruit I may as well drink cider, so I do.
I have tried none in the list but the last American craft beer I had was a Devil's Backbone Black and it was good, taste like black beer, with an aftertaste of black beer.

The "east coast style" IPA is not bitter at all - it is mostly a cloudy juice with high alcohol content. Tasty, yes. Beer? Not so sure. Bad hangover? You bet.No, but I’m not a big fan of the IPA dick-swinging contest to see who can make the most gasoline-tasting beer. Well I'm not an asshole, I'm the whole ass.Yeah it's ok, just don't cross post everything to Twitter/Farcebook, only Aholes do that.
I do, but just personally so I can track what beers I like/dislike.Anyone use the Untapped app? Just got it after my buddy told me about it and its a great app.
Kinda the same but also to see what a few people who's judgment I trust in beer are drinking & what they think about it, that gives me a heads up on new things to try which I'll probably like.I do, but just personally so I can track what beers I like/dislike.
I try beers and like them and then proceed to forget what they are called. Plus i like that i tells me where i can buy it.I do, but just personally so I can track what beers I like/dislike.
i've always argued that 120 is borderline barleywine due to the malt profile and the fact that it ages so well.If it's not bitter, is it an IPA?
aack! Sorry. We shoot for Father's day weekend every year. It's still out there. I know we still have it for sale at the brewery.you forgot to tell me when nimble giant was coming out

My town has an amazing brewery - http://www.cannonballcreekbrewing.com/ ... everyone should have a beer there if you come to town to ride.If it's not bitter, is it an IPA?
DBB Vienna was one of my favorite beers for a long time; it's really well done. I was bummed when AB bought themWhen i was at Virginia Beach, the restaurant next to the hotel had a Vienna lager that was really good by Devils Backbone brewing and in Flagstaff found Diamond Down lager by lumberyard that was good. And someone gave me a Vanilla Caramel porter that was pretty amazing actually.
AB really needs to fuck right off.DBB Vienna was one of my favorite beers for a long time; it's really well done. I was bummed when AB bought them
Some of it is aging brewery owners with no exit strategy. AB offers $ and the owner sails off in to the sunset.AB really needs to fuck right off.
