most travel frame and shock

Alright guys im wanting to make a frame what is the longest traveling shock you can buy? also what frame is the longest travling?

im wanting to build up a frame that can just eat up drops like a pro

could always stick a snowmobile shock on the bike, like that one company did. Maybe you could one up them and use a shock from a baja truck?

its not the travel is the skill. besides all that travel has to rebound and if u look at bender u can clearly see how 15 inches works out. i would rather drop with a 8 inch travel downhill bike super stiff no rebound

no i know ive done 7 feet on my bmx but it hurts ive done 15 on my mountain bike with 8" travel front and rear but iono i just like to build stuff

Are you talking about building a frame from scratch? And you've done it before? Got pix?

I would tend to recommend the Avalanche Downhill Racing MTN-10 http://www.avalanchedownhillracing.com/mtn10.html Though for long travel it has to be the Risse Bigfoot with 12" of travel http://www.risseracing.com/forks.shtml Both do rear shocks that are good for the big stuff.
If he's going to build this bike, why use on of their rear shocks? He could buy two forks and then use one for the rear suspension!! Like the old manitou full suspension
