Me and a few friends are planning a trip to watch the world cup in windham as well as ride platty. I was throwing the idea around of bringing the dirt bikes are well. Whats the trail riding scene like in the area? Figured a few of you guys who live near platty would ride moto as well.

you can actually bike to atv tails right off of plattys triple chair, takes less than 3 minutes. Apparently there is a entire network of atv trails on the backside of the mountain.
Good to know! I think i will be bringing the MX bike with me on a few DHtrips this season.
Plattekill is surrounded on three sides by a state park approx 1/4 mile wide. Outside that it is all private land. I would get permission or be a local that is known to the land owners or you just might be pulling buckshot out of your ass. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on Plattekil property without managements permission. In fact pit bikes/trail bikes are banned.
