Anyone know where I could find some good prints for sale of "Inspirational" mountain bike shots? My companies just moved and I've got a new office with bare walls. Something like this.
I've got this picture in my mind of a shot looking down a rocky chute with only the front tire shown in the picture. To a conservative person this would look unridable, possibly un-walkable, but to the creative person there's actually a line that could be found.
I may need to take my wife's Nikon and go get some of my own shots. Too bad Sunday River is closed, there was a trail called "Double Vision" that you could look down and at a first glimpse think Unridable. Maybe a picture from the top of the Yard Sale at Mount Snow, problem is the lighting isn't very good in there.
There used to be a guy on MTBR named PhotoJohn, I'm not sure if he's still doing the MTBR thing or not but most of his shots looked nice, getting them blown up to poster size may be a different story though. Definately check 164productions and derek peterson, I'm a fan of their work too.
Maybe you could make your own....like, take a photo and photoshop it to what ever you want to say. then bring it to Kinkos or something and have them enlarge it? I've done that before, and it's quite cheap and easy.
His site goes through a lot of changes and doesn't have much bike content on it right now. I know he has a lot of REALLY good bike pics in his library. He posts on the PNW forum regularly.
