I'm moving to soCal this winter simply to ride. I will be living out of my bus and can basically settle anywhere I please. I've been looking all over the net for trails, but need some real advice from some locals. I'd prefer to land somewhere between san diego and LA with access to some shuttle-able riding (light downhill - 7 inch travel on my bike). Any suggestions would help. Thanks:biggrin:

Lake Elsinore, puts you in position for SJT, Intense trail (10-15 min), vail lake (15 min), fontucky races (25 min), Idylwild (50 min), SS (1 hr), ted willys (1hr), mt wilson (1hr), webb (45 min) etc...... OC (45 min).
Temecula, Lake Elsinore, On top of the Ortegas they have RV areas, Fallbrook, oceanside has some coastal camoing (surf when not riding! )
