Livin it up in the O.C.
So lets say I'm going to the beach, or camping or something and I want to play music from my MP3 player.

Looking around, the biggest speakers I see are all powered by 4 AA batteries.

Has anyone ever tried these? Are they loud? Do they last?

I have a boombox that I coud use a Tape converter in, but quality is lost.

Is there anything else out there?
