I gotta see how a few things play out (like my divorce *sigh*), but if I can be there, I will be there.

    Thanks for registering so fast!!

We're doing the 50 - we talked about it and decided that we liked the relaxed pace of the 50. And with the rain it took us like 4.5hours just for that! LOL

But please feel free to do the 100!! We'll see you at the finish line!

Well I signed up for the 50 as well. If there are enough interested people I'll look into changing that to the 100.

Saturday food and beer at our place?

I'll be expecting Eammon to at least be supplying more homebrew if he can't make it to the picnic.

I should have a Maibock and a IIPA ready by then. I'll have to see if I can talk my wife out of a few bottles of her first beer (an Irish Stout) so Randee has something to drink. :)

I'm not sure where to rent those, Kevin, but last year there was a couple on a tandem recumbent doing the 50 miler. :thumb:

You have to raise $125. I hit that with minimal effort.

Why is this stickied in the lounge and not in the New England forum?

I feel it's only tainting the purity and intellectually stimulating content normally reserved for the lounge in its utmost stature.

These rides are excellent recreational endeavors. Completed 4 years in a row some time back... of course, that was here in Canada, but its all the same :)

What time on Sunday does the ride start? I'm thinking of something stupid and just want to see if it's feasible.

I'll make him carry a couple of the sand bags I have in my truck :busted:

Either that or I'll bring a tow rope and tie it to him before we start.

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you. My wife has MS, it's been really hard on her and a struggle [but not on her level] for me. We really appreciate everyones effort to help find a cure.
