Nice and light, and theyre durable too. Much Much stronger than ex823s that I had before these. Can easily be run tubeless with some BMX tubes as rimstrips

How is the weight compared to a Rhyno Lite XL? That's my current set up, but they pinch flat pretty easily. I really want something with the shape of a Singletrack and the weight of a Rhyno Lite XL.

They are better than rhyno lites. I taco'd one of mine with out much abuse. I personally suggest Mavic 729's or 321's they are the same rim. They are an ok rim but just like the rest of the Sun products I have used, they are not durable. Mine taco'd after my bike fell 4 feet or so off of a ladder bridge. I had a set of 24" Mag 30's that were great but heavy.

They are like 50 grams heavier than a singletrack, and a whole lot stonger.
I went through a 823 and a singletrack rear rim before the 04 race season even started, and then I raced the rest of the year on one rear MTX rim.
I will probaly run them front and rear for next year.
Mustang,
thats very interesting
no seat post, and LX cranks.
but mono 6Ti, white bros, MTX
i think you're going a little over the edge with this weight saving thing.

Haha...it has a seat post on it now and i cant kill the damn LX's. Weight saving? In that pic there is 8lbs of rubber on the bike but yeah its a strange mix of stuff, I still love it though.
I think this topic has been hashed out thoroughly in the past, because I distinctly rememeber posting on it. Long story short though, MTX's rule. Light and strong.
Find old threads...
I ran a pair of MTXs (Eight Tracks) on my Turner all last season, they are the best rims I have ridden to date. Although my MTXs have multiple dents, they are still true and solid after a whole season of racing/riding, that's saying a lot.
-The Mag 30 is a much different rim. Heavier by almost 200grams!
