I did one with my wife a few years ago down in Richmond, VA. It was fun and very muddy. I was happy to get to crawl through the giant mud bog at the end only because I don't know what I crawled through earlier in the race, but it DIDN'T smell like mud.

I did it last year in Chicago with my father in law, and it was a blast! For me the riding part was fine, just the running sucked. The Redhook beer sucked too, but at least it was free.
