So, i have started thinking about fixing my specilized Demo (not sure if 8 or 9) in to a mullet setup to hopefully get some better stability on the trails while still have smaller wheels.

So i now have 26inch and i want to fit 27'5 in the front, ive searched and searched what fork i have and with the help of fox serch engine i got that i had a:
2013 PERFORMANCE 40 VAN 26 203 i just wonder if anyone has fit 27'5 in these without any issues.

i have a 2008 fox 40 and it fits a 27.5" x 2.5" tire. i can't recall offhand if the lowers for your gen would fit, but given mine is older i would be inclined to say yes.

borrow a 27.5 wheel from a friend to test the fitment would be an easy check.

Biggest issue is that all my friends either ride modern 29ers or old school 26 like me so can't try one :/

i can take a measurement on mine from the axle to the support arch on the lowers later on.

About 36cm spot on from the centerline of the axle to the underside of the arch. Maybe 2mm more, I took the measurement with a fender on.

I mullet everything , I will mullet my wife while she sleeps to show you the wrath of mullet power...she wakes up and all will understand a mullet laden wench will go viking.
So treat your bike the same, mullet that steed and let it rage like my wife, just cover your balls, jugular and any other 1 blow fatality spots ..

Mullet while she sleeps , when she awakens she is in full beast mode ..rage, chaos, anger, adventure, adrenaline, willing to crush the life and existence out of everything (actually me!)..but still.

Shaving her head won't yield this kind of awesomeness...only a true mullet!!

Spot on. 36 cm to the middle of the axle. So 27'5 2.40 should fit like a glove then?

Yup. Obviously clearance is reduced, but I'm running a 2.5" and a fender with no rubbing.

2.5 assagai is tight... and I wouldn't do it without

If anybody is interested a 2014 Zoke 888 Evo2 will take a 27.5 Assegai with no problem, but a marsh style fender used in conjunction with aforementioned Ass-guy will rub.
