What's up, brotatoes!! 2200 yard swim done early. The foster dog/puppy is doing great. He already likes the crate...he slept great in it the last two nights with no fussing, plus he's been going in there on his own for naps. Most foster dogs hate the crate. He's a good leash walker, and we are still waiting for his first accident in the house. He is super affectionate and licks a lot. He's going to be a hard pup to let go, but we will let him go.

Took the child exploring yesterday and ended up at an oxbow in the local river. Great swimming hole and good fishing too.

Oh also, I'm leaning into the full bike dorkiness. I let my daughter ride to school today and volunteered to carry her trumpet for her, which I put ON MY RACK, ON MY BIKE. Even with the stop, it took me like 51 minutes to get in, which is equivalent to the car commute these days. The EEB allows me to just cruise at a low heart rate too, which I enjoyed this beautiful morning. I can crank on the way back!

I'm currently waiting to hear back from a potential future employer...they said early in the week for the next stages of interview. Would be pretty cool if this works out, but I'm not holding my breath as the job market SUCKS right now.

In office day for no real reason other than a feeling of obligation. There is stuff I need to do and can only do it here, so there is that. Eventually I will set up a home lab and be able to do stuff there, but I haven't.

Wow, clean install, already have 3 issues filed. We are supposed to release in 2 weeks and we keep breaking the build. For those that don't know, that isn't good.

We just got notification that both Haley and Hannah have art at the district art show. Guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow afternoon.
