[The Toninator]

My father has some sheet music that his dad wrote while a member of the John Phillip Susa band BITD. He’s given it to me and my task is to find a way to turn it into audio.
What’s a good simple program to compose music using a drag and drop type composition?
I’m looking for something that I can select key signature, instrument (basic symphonic band instruments) and note and note characteristics (pitch, length, intensity etc.)
Any suggestions?
