It should also be noted that the 3 slivers in the trek badge resemble 3 spikes that one might use to pin a meddlesome hippie to a scarecrow frame. The plot thickens!

I agree he has plenty of leverage to use now or in the future. He's a conservative americans marketing dream. He's a class act, he's all american apple pie kinda guy, he's someone they can market to both kids and adults alike, etc. Trek paid him whatever they paid him, Specialized saw the chance to get the biggest available american onto their team and they paid him whatever trek paid him and probably then some. His performance suffered on a different bike for a bit of time. He's in the prime of his career, both in terms of performance and age. I can't think of many brands that could pay him the way Trek or Specialized can now, he's used to the bike he's on now, he's back on top. Why risk a few more of his prime years at this point to re-develop another bike and potentially have his performance suffer again to switch? When he can stay with the company that probably has some of the deepest pockets in the industry to go somewhere else? Two out of his now three total ain't good enough for you? Those first two were on trek.
That dude had plenty of leverage of his own when he left. He used it.
edit: akkordin' to this here wiki, he's actually the first ever murkin uci world cup champ.

Dayum, is that right?
Yeah, I don't see him hurting for a nice contract anytime soon, regardless of the frame he rides.I'm sure whatever deal Gwin makes is going to be nice and comfy...more so than in the past...
I know they need to get @Sandro to do their photoshop stuff.View attachment 121201 Who knows anything about this?
I think that's an Italian brand based out of Rome, and they don't make crabon models, because...ya know...the whole suicide thing and all.I just pulled it into photoshop, separated the layers and you can read it pretty clearly.
Says "BOYDICK"
Not sure what that means. Is that a good brand? Any experience with Boydick? You like that stuff? How do they feel on your hands?
If @StiHacka's theory is accurate, the guys at Trek should have plenty of experience with it.Any experience with Boydick? You like that stuff? How do they feel on your hands?
I'm off the back on all the specific team and component sponsorship, but I thought the Gravity Republic and Lapierre relationship had ended.Interesting that he felt the need to MS Paint that out...
Are we talking about those mighty enginerds who used to make fun of the concepts written in this site regarding their claims on suspension ideas? If @StiHacka's theory is accurate, the guys at Trek should have plenty of experience with it.

I was sliding their pedo inclinations into the conversation in a moar stealthy way...Or:
Upside down Trek badge = Pontiff party hat = Catholic Clergy = Diddling little boys = ??? = Profit
I don't think that is gwinn in the picture..........so we can conclude, Gwin to boystick?
