I think not being on my bike in so long is starting to effect my mental state! I'm way to hostile these days. I just got into my second internet forum bickering match in like a week. So, because of this I would like to apologize if I have offended any of you or been a jerk. I would also like to apologize for all future jerkly actions or comments.

I would also like to apologize for excessive and useless posting. I just don't know what else to do with all this time I have on my hand. Get it?? Hand??

And now I would like to apologize for my use of bad humor.

I can't wait to get back on my bike! I truelly believe not riding is driving me crazy!

I hear ya, thats exactly what happened to me about 3 months ago; after my ankle surgey. You trashed your wrist right? So if you can run or maybe swim (anything to burn off some of the bad stuff) that might help you chill out .

Thats good advice. Unfortunately, I haven't been cleared for any high impact activities like running (because of the stupid bone graft), and this is really funny but, I don't know how to swim!! I've even been to lessons. I just straight sink. It's weird. Pretty much all I can do right now is sit on a trainer and maybe some mild pilates (minus the arm stuff).

I don't know what it is. I guess it's just boredom but normally if someone's a snot in a thread I usually don't care enough to call them on it, but latelly man I don't hesitate. I need to find a hobby that only takes one hand. Any suggestions??

no mainly because i dont have $3000+ to blow on a bike... im a student, why do you ask
I hear that. I used some of my student loan money to finance part of my first DH bike when I was in school. I was just curious because I did a few races up that way this year. I have met a lot of people at those races that post on here. I'm down in Oregon.

well, i went to salem, i think, southern oregon, for a while but i was to afraid to leave my aunts house fearing poison ivy, (we couldnt pet the dog cause of it) but the reunioun was on a small river called the alsea river or something, its by a little 1 horse town, there were actually people whittling a stick and smoking a pipe on the porch of the local mom and pop store, actually the only store. but its like an hour to an hour and a half from portland i think

You were very close to a pretty decent freeride area. If your ever in Salem again go to Santiam cycles and ask about fall city. It's a hike a bike but pretty fun. It's got some stunts, drops, good single track. Definetely a good break from the family reunion.
