I don't see any Cointreau. Are cosmos really that much better with it as opposed to using triple sec? I prefer the cheaper option ($12 vs $35)

Hummm good question. I like triple sec but I am not a heavy enough cosmo drinker to appreciate Cointreau.

Both of those are good. Also try Basal Haydens (sp.?). I like bourbon and scotch. Wish it were 5:30.

I am an infrequent scotch drinker but I do recommend Balvenie DoubleWood Single Malt Scotch.

well buy some Cointreau and let us know.

I am going to make this though:

VANILLA COSMO
1/2 oz. NAVAN
2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
Garnish with a lime. Serve chilled up in a martini glass.

What is "Navan"? Is that like Navin Johnson? "The new phone books are here! The new phone books are here! I'M SOMEBODY!!!!"

"DIE, Navin R Johnson!"

It's a cognac introduced this fall by the makers of Grand Marnier called Navan. It is a blend of fine cognac and natural black vanilla from Madagascar. It's a dry, flavorful 80-proof bottle of yumminess! Cost: $40/750ml.

Friday = Patron day!

shoot! I thought that was everyday.....
Just discovered 'Tonala'. They make a 4+ year anejo.
It's quite nice and makes Patron taste like Jose if you drink 'em too close together.
