A few buddies and I went on a week long trip to Bozeman last week that was fun as hell. It was hands down the best riding I have ever done (mind you I live in ND). We rode 5 days.
Sunday we did our driving and got to our motel and unpacked. The rest of the night was pretty uneventful.
Monday was our first ride and probably the most scenic ride of the trip. It was the Emerald Lake trail that was 4 1/2 miles up and then 4 1/2 of sweet downhill back. The climb wasn't very tough compared to what was coming the next few days. Once we made it to the top it started to rain on us so we had to make it back down as fast as safely possible.

Day two of the trip was Sypes Canyon. A very technical 2.1 mile out and back trail that had to be pushed up in some spots. This was our shortest ride of the trip but also very fun. It was the most technical riding I had ever done (until Thursday). To say the trail was rocky was an understatement.

Wednesday we did Big Sky ski resort. This was our first time doing lift assisted Dhing and it was fun but we took a beating. Next time we go back we will need to bring bigger bikes. This day gave us our only mechanical problems with me getting two flats.

2nd flat of the day
Thursday was the most fun trail (South Cottonwood) I have ever been on. It was fast, technical, there was waterholes, great views and all you could ask for. We shuttled this trail so we wouldn't have to climb the ten mile downhill section. It was one or two miles of climbing and then 10 of downhill. Make sure to ride this trail if you go to Bozeman.

Friday we rode New World Gulch and that trail was steep as shiit. I dont have any pictures of that one. We also did cliff jumping that day into Ennis Lake. My highest was a 30'er but two others did 50. It was a rush and that was one of the most fun things I have ever done. I would love to go back and do it again.
Sorry for the crappy pics but if you want to see more of the scenary or trails I will post them up.
