the shop i work at is putting on a cycle speedway race next weekend, so i'm using a bike that has been sitting under my deck for two years or more...it's a gary fisher aquila or something like that. basicly i stripped it down and cleaned it...then i spray painted it flat black and then masked off little strippes of tape all over the bike (which took about an hour or two to do) to create a zebra like design and then painted over that with turquoise spray paint...after that i put the bike back together (minus the breaks and shifters) and now all it needs is some slick tires and it'll be ready for the race.
here's the pictures that i took of it
before
the bike hanging to dry
my dog guarding the bike while the paint was drying
and the finished product
also i took a picture of this... this bike was my friends and i somehow adopted it...and when i was taking it apart i noticed that he somehow managed to break the water bottle cage...how one does that, i'm not really sure
