Well She is doing Pretty good. She is into Phase 2 of Chemotherapy. but it is taking its toll.

Phase 1 Brought the lovliness of her losing her hair , becoming a Type 1 diabetic ( temporarily ) but very little Nausea.

she started Phase 2 LAst week, and that has been kicking the crap out of her. some Nusea , a Persitant Headache , and Just feeling like crap. Yesterday She Had Chemo but also required a Blood transfusion, Her 2nd one we are told she will need several more before we are done. also she has been off of insulin for over aweek now and her blood sugar has been staying down.

However the Good News is that she is now in Remission , this is really good news and we are very happy. so far things are going acording to the plan the doctors laid out for her.

On another note she is going Wig shopping today ( she didn't want the Marge Simpson Blue Behive wig I found on eBaY. )

Tell her that the next time I see her. I will catch her as many frogs as her heart desires(Dalton). Glad to hear she is getting better.

I have been through some pretty rough **** with my six year old so I can understand a bit. I think dealing with cancer is on another level though. I am glad to hear things are moving in the proper direction and pray that they continue that way.

It was One Year ago today , that we got the Initial Diagnosis . and since then it has been a very bumpy ride. but she is now in Phase V of the Chemo therapy treatments , She has another Year to go. But She is growing her hair back ( she no longer has to wear a wig ) and feeling a lot Better. they still would like her to try and gain some weight. She Still weighs less then she did a year ago. But over all things are looking good. I thank you all for your Support.

Awesome news, John. Today I got word that a friend of a friend has a 6 year old son who was diagnosed with a brain tumor and is going through treatment now.

Cancer sucks, especially when it hits kids. Give your daughter my best.
