I wore through the front wheel of mine. My dad cut up an old bike tire and wired it to the big wheel rim. I had so much more traction and could beat all the other little kids in big wheel races.

i did one in our shop the other day. wasn't that hard really.

now me riding to TEST out was another story!
I was soooo busted by a customer after repairing their Green Machine... I took it out in the parking lot to "F" around and re-live some child hood memories and they pulled in to check if it was done...

I played it off and told them "I was just test riding it" but they could tell by the grin on my face it was more than that! :clapping:

We take out the trek mods for some fun at work every now and then. The freewheel up front makes drifting phenomenal.
They look pretty cool, but the orginals were brakeless and fixed :)

So most of us were riding brakeless fixies long before the current trend...
