Its dark, scary, disorenting, we got lost, the trail looks totally different, IT WAS AWESOME!

I just got some lights, and talked my friend at the shop to get some too. We went out tonight on a fun loop, and it was a totally new and different experiance. It totally made me think more, and definantly helped on my skills. I didnt even recognize where we were riding, even though I do it a few times a week!

We did 20 miles, and then decided to call it a night!

:D

My first night ride was with no lights under a full moon. It was tough because when we were on the north side of the ridge that we were riding the moon was blocked. I knew the trail really well but had to really work to remember the sections we were riding in the complete dark. It was WAY fun though!!!

Watch out, it becomes addicting, and the next thing you know you'll be looking forward to your night laps at 24 hour races

I'm doing a 24 hour 2 man team in September with my friend that is moving to Chicago. I don't know if I am looking forward to it.

I've been wanting to try this, but I've been at the trails at night (just to go to the lake) and found that there are some seriously huge focking spiders. Not just a few either. Call me a sissy if you will, but I've got some serious issues with big a$$ spiders landing on me. With that said for some reason it's calling me, and I've been getting closer to buying a set of lights, and trying night riding out.
