After hanging out and posting here occasionally I've decided to throw my hat in the ring. Well not so much my hat. Like manimal, SS and others I have a couple of youngsters that ride too. So let me introduce first my daughter Sam...7 years old and really just getting started as far as riding singletrack. She's a total speedster and never slows down.

Here she is on my pumptrack ...

Riding one of the bridges at Harris Lake trails

Her first "skinny" as her big brother looks on...Legand Park in Clayton, NC

Education is key...don't ride wet trails

On to the next grom...My son Jake. He'll be 12 in 5 days. Hes a bit of a sender and likes to keep it zesty.

Throwin the big no- footer...

Hittin the first table in a 6 hit line that runs down through my front yard.

Working on whips in our mulch pit jump..

Barhumpin!!!!!

Straight up boostin it....

Well I've tooted my horn enough for one day. Ya see...they've been in New York for about 3 weeks visiting the grandparent and I totally miss em like crazy. But all you grom owners and future grom owners...this is what you have to look forward to. Today its the Bigwheel, tomorrow the training wheels come off...it just keeps gettin better and better. Thanks for readin along

Thanks for the pics, and one of the better "first threads" I've seen during my time here.

Thankfully no groms for me just yet, but the pics do make part of the sacrifice seem worth it...

Nice pics, but personally speaking I think it is better to go straight through the mudhole, than to keep going around, which just widens it.

how come your son has a tripple crown fork (888 or boxxer) in 2 of the pix and mot the others?
Its actually the Marz Drop-off triple that came stock on my Stinky...he destroyed the MZ comp that came on his bike in a very short while. He now has a Drop-off single that came off a coiler on it and it seems to be working really well...but I'm buidling him a new bike in the next couple weeks...thinking about a Transition Preston FR with 24's.
