sooooooo i went dh'ing with my hollowpoint this past weekend at diablo. only thing i chaged from stock was the e13 srs, maxxis dh ties, dirt jump seat, ad 50mm stem.

i was so happy with how this bike worked. i was worried cause of the xc style and lack of travel but it was so nice for mt creek. granted i wasent doing the big drops, mostly staying to the intermediate and some black diamond trails it was great. very stable at speed on the fire roads. concerning the baby head rocks it was very smooth, and quick in the turns. i now know y it was used for slalom.

so this is my request. if their were a 6 in travel hollowpoint, lil swinger air 4 way, 1.5 headube, lil slacker HTA, and clearence for a 2.5 in the rear. id bag it up in heartbeat for dh.

this was also my first weekend w/ a 2.5 minion front and a haunsventure 2.35 rear. the hauns fit nice in the 03 rear end. worked very well on the diablo terrain. id have to say though id use the hauns for dry days and pick a highroller on the moist days, the hauns did pack w/ mud easy but cleaned nicely when at speed. also all the people that say the minons r made for mt creek, they are correct. i will use this combo again and again. when i get more of a true dh bike i will also try the 2.5 hauns.
