Ever since I drove one on vacation, I've wanted one. Then after seeing the 26mpg my buddy gets in his Magnum, I want one even more! Hemi power AND great gas milage, that is the total package!
If it were E85 compliant, I would have to sell a kidney or something.

I see it as both a toy and a low return investment (at least i rationalize it backwards like that).
it will probably appreciate more than the average peruvian CD. (4-4.5% a year). and more so if i ever take it to the US to sell, which i wont.
2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi 300 horsepower 300 lb-ft of torque @ 18 mpg city / 24 mpg highway (a lot of people on here seem to like these).
What would you consider great gas milage for 340 hp? 26mpg is great in my book with that sort of power (my truck is 370 hp @ 14mpg, but I don't drive it more than about 4000 miles a year tops).
<edit> the 26mpg was average on a tank, not highway miles either.
Let's take that bitch down to Playa Asia, if stuff is still open.
I'll pick up the tab at the Grifa.
Bring your girlfriend. And an extra.
Seriously, YO.

I was keeping it in the context of the topic at hand. This is not a thread about "the best commuter car on the planet", this is a topic about a muscle car. One that happens to be powered by a 5.7 Hemi that through the magic of engineering manages to get better gas milage than most soccer mom mini vans.
So with that in mind, 26mpg is GREAT milage for a 5.7 V8 pushing 340 hp. No matter how you slice it, that is great mialge for a muscle car.
Again, I would not get one unless I could run it on E85, but that's because I do care what I'm burning (and that's also why I don't drive to work either). My truck is used as a truck, not to drive around looking cool. It will also be converted to E85 in about 6 months. So even though it will only get about 14mpg, only 15% of that is fosil fuel.
