Well I got it for $800 US so I think I saved a bit. Seemed like a good deal to me.

Yeah this is my first devinci. I havent taken it on to serious of a ride yet but from what I've done I love it. Even though it has a lot of travel (8.5") its still really flickable and pedals well. Its a very well built frame and with the 888 makes you feel like you can hit anything. If you're ever thinking about buying one do it!
