I stopped by aCOS on the 17th and they had two 9.9 frames hanging on the wall. I wonder if one was your's or if that makes 3 frames they got. I was impressed just seeing 2 in the same place.I had my first ride on my new Session 9.9. Thanks to Santiago and a Culture of Speed for one of the first.
No, I only bought the frame from Trek. I picked up the RC2 fork, I wasn't interested in the air assisted 40.ok so its not specificly called the "drcv" 40 like they named all the other forks equiped on treks ( like my co-workers drcv talas or float or wtv fork it is ) .
do you have the hybrid air 40 ????
if you considered that owned, then **** man you must feel bad wen someone shows you up performance wise in the real world.pwn'd
You crazy? Why didn't you want the super duper new ICUP edition? They are miles better and only slow people and internet retards will ride regular 40s when p-spec converts his.No, I only bought the frame from Trek. I picked up the RC2 fork, I wasn't interested in the air assisted 40.
yesssss,on the moneyslow people and internet retards will ride regular 40s when p-spec converts his.
Can't please everyone..... I like the red cables ;o)I think the pedals and wheels look good on the bike, but the red cables are going too far. Overall, the bike looks incredible, good job. Curious to see some reviews once people get to owning and riding these 9.9 Carbons....
I had a 2009 session 88 and I couldn't disagree with you more. I found that I could toss the 2009 session around easily. I felt that the balance of the bike was spot on, when taking off of a road gap there wasn't any mid air correction the bike just seem to find the sweep spot and stay there. How is cornering on the 9.9?
I love my Session (large) but there are two downsides:
One is the problem that this bike is just not as flickable as I'd say a demo or other bikes are. I got the impression that due to the ABP the bike gets so much grip during braking that the bike is still hard to flick around even if the rear wheel is locked. Maybe a shorter chainstay could help? Have other people made the same expirience?
And the other one is that the bike isn't that good in continuous chunder. This problem should be solved on the 9.9.
Can someone compare to the old Session 88? And how this properties have changed on the new one?
Glad to hear, I won't get a chance to ride mine until next year..... I can hear her at night calling my name.... Come ride me Mancil.... ride me and ride me hard...After a cold couple weeks in Colorado, we got out riding today. Thanks to A Culture of Speed for one of the most fun mountain bikes ever made.
