I left a POS bike, virtually never used, at the Caltrain station near work, so I wouldn't have to bring a bike on the train.

Well, I guess I was asking for it to be stolen, considering I haven't checked it for 2 weeks. I am still disappointed though.

P.S. If you see anyone riding a Ross Rock Machine, in perfect condition, grab him!

You shouldn't have left your bike at a trainstation for 2 weeks; that still really sucks. The theif needs an ass kicking!!

Was it locked? Either way, two weeks is a long time for a bike to last at a train station.

It was probably Caltrain getting rid of what they thought was an abandoned bike.

Maybe the thief read the CPSC warning and was trying to protect me.

It is only a mile to work from the train, but I rather ride than walk.

Really, I got the Rock Machine as a throw in on a $75 Giant Iguana, my other commuter. I used just a cable lock, and I do regret not spending a few extra bucks on a U-Lock.

The commuter traffic was light around Xmas, so I either drove or I was able to my real commuter onto the train, a Surly 1x1.
