Awesome read, congratulations! Reminds me of a friend of mine who trained for and completed the Louisville Iron Man in '10. For a year before the event, he was in bed by 7:30 every night up at 2:00 AM each and every weekday to alternate riding/swimming and running, with a century ride on the weekend. He completed it, and had a grand mal seizure at the end of the marathon. Afterwards, he spent nine days in a coma in a Louisville hospital. I asked him if he would ever do it again, to which he replied "Hell no!" He said he just wanted to finish, and that in and of itself is a ridiculous accomplishment. Again, congrats to you!
