    its been 6 weeks since I have been on my mtn bike......and it was suppose to be about 25 degrees out , so why not go racing!

    whats up with the guy on the cross bike? or is it a 29er with drop bars?

    It was a cross bike.......there were a few cross bikes & a couple SS's

    the prize for wining was a Giant Stiletto bike (chopper)

    race was 2 hours, most laps wins (24 hour rules)

    I decided to race w/the big boys in the the "open" catagory, and I had hub issues from the start (any time I cranked hard the hub would skip, so most hills and log crossings I had to hike a bike)

    ....so my ass got kicked

    Nice Doug! Looks like a pretty flat course, you should have singlespeeded it...

    Nice Doug! I saw Heather's blog post about it and thought about doing it....for about 2 seconds. :p Was that in Schenectady?

    the course was fun, no big climbs, a bunch of bridges.........would have been real fun if I had a functioning hub, studded tires, and feet that were not forozen !! :D
