I know they make hearing aids for people who are hard of hearing,
but it's too bad they do not sell joke aids.

Check this one out - the existing vent didn't exactly come straight down into the new cabinet. This slowed us down quite a bit - but it's all good now

HOORAY countertops! They are being installed right now. I'm surprised the wife left me alone to supervise this.
I like the recessed sink. Makes washing the countertop much easier.
Progress! The counter is done! We can't put anything on it until tomorrow. The plumber is coming tomorrow to finish up the sink. We still need to do the walls and floor.
Installation guy has got to be wondering WTF "Hi ridemonkeys" is supposed to mean.

I'm curious as to why you didn't paint before installation of the cabinets. Makes sense to me to paint before cabinets.
1. Time
2. Part of the wall needs to be taped and painted and neither Keith nor I are experts at that.
3. it's a lot easier to put in the upper cabinets when you are not worried about scratching the wall!
My cousin paints - so it'll get done (eventually).

Jewell is a champ now on slippery floors. She even knows how to slide before a turn. Still not as smooth as the cats though.

I was reminiscing about our kitchen remodel as we come upon the 1 year anniversary....and I realized that this thread is missing the picture of our new refrigerator that we bought in November. So in the interest of CLOSURE, I'm adding it now.
