Hi! First post on here.

I have recently got hold of the Linkage program by Bike Checker. And knocked up this in between lectures this eve. I'm pretty into frame design and have been lucky enough to get to design a frame for my dissertation!

This one is a 650b trail bike with geometry how I'd want it. I'm still learning about leverage ratios and such but I reckon this is pretty good.

66 deg HA
13.2inch BB
420mm CS
140mm travel

loosely based on a norco 650b

Opinions/suggestions?

Looks fine, save for two things.

I hate the way the upper linkage is. It's similar on the Norco, but I don't understand why you'd want that much leverage and rotation on each pivot. I feel like I must be missing something, but I feel like those little bearings/bushings are going to be going through a lot of stress.

The other thing is, what does the instant center look like? I feel like a lot of people say the Norco has a lot of antisquat. Could be a good or bad thing depending on chainring size and how you feel about the mess, but I thought I'd ask.
