So, I'm back in the states now, and I must say, Toronto is awesome! The people are more laid back, its more bike friendly, and the people there are beautiful :) Its also really weird to see low end bikes from Canadian companies. I saw a LOT of low end Norco's that I didnt even know exsited, because we dont import them to this country.

To show how bike friendly it is, check this sticker out that was on all the cabs:

We went and saw a few shows, we saw Hairspray, Urinetown and Second City. They were awesome! definantly up to Broadway Par. (I'm that crazy theatre kid, remember?) So besides that, I checked out some of the clubs and bars, because you only have to be 19 to drink :)

I hate tourists, and I especially hate being one, but, I was anyway. We went to the CN tower, and it wass really cool. I took a looooot of pictures of it, but I'll only bore you with two.
The Artisticy type from the bottom:

and the cool glass floor from the observatory:

The Next day, we trekked over to Niagra Falls. If any of you ever go there, the Maid of the Mist is AWESOME!

The American Falls:

From underneath:

and the much cooler Canadian horeshoe falls:

I am defiantly looking foreward to going back there somtime, WITHOUT my family!

EDIT: Oh yeah, I left out the trip back!

So, its a 58 minute flight from Toronto to Dulles. an hour and a half later, we find out that there are bad thunderstorms in Dulles, and we have been circling the airport for a half hour, and that we were running out of fuel. So we diverted to Philly. We landed in Philly around 5:00 when we were suppsed to be in DC at 4:00. Suprise suprise, it started to rain in Philly :( They closed that airport. We were not allowed off the plane. We sat on the runway for a long time, and they kept telling us lies lies lies. Finally they opened both airports back up so we got in line. Yes thats right, in line. There was a line around the runway of like 50 planes that we were at the end of. We FINALLY took off from Philly at like 8:00. When we got to Dulles, they informed us that our baggage would be like an hour before it got on the carousel :dead: Then we had to take the people mover, then the bus back to our car, then finally got home! We caught the bus to the airport in Toronto at 11:45, and got to our house at midnight :(:dead:

but... at least I got to sit next to this really cute really interesting girl from Germany. even though she was only 16!

if yer gonna go to TO... take the four hours and stop by Ottawa. Plenty o' parks, good street stuff... museum's galore... Go to Gatineau Park fo XC and DH... I think they even have the DS course still.

There's only one huge bar, yet plenty of smaller watering holes that will make you feel nice. There's lots of bike paths too, and there's dedicated bike lanes all over. If you wanna take a trip across the city with your bike, no prob, cuz the major buses have bike racks on the front: note my kujo 2.35s jsut fit in the rack, so DH guys: yer gonna hafta put some slicks or skinnies on.

Yup... Ottawa is half the size of TO... with more flavah!
