My two new bikes!

First one is my fixxie commuter (uses a custom 6 bolt cog on respaced XT ft. disk hub), and features rims wider than the tires, a slow roller speed reducer, and a super cool Lord Clothing headtube sticker. It is a USA made true temper Trek frame. This bike still lacks a rear rack and "Oyster Bucket" paniers so I can pick up all my organic veggies at the hippy food mart.

Second bike is the replacement for my stolen hemp green endless. I couldn't afford all the parts I wanted just yet, but at least it's ridable at this point (yay!) The holzfeller pedals appear to be the best platform pedal ever. I'm stoked. Still need a set of King hubs and headset, as well as a hope M4 185mm ft. brake, and proper XC tires too.

Anyways, thanks for looking!

The Endless is sexy.

Your commuter, however, has to be one of the ugliest bastard children I've ever seen :D

Glad you got your stolen bike replaced (though not in the same great color!) - enjoy both of 'em.

looking really good. We seem to be thinking along the same lines, I'm buying a spare fixie wheel to run my full-on xc frame as a commuter, and am in the process of reconfiguring my lifetime....I still need to find a proper rigid, but I just can't get around the size and heft of that funn fork!

what about the Kona OB cro-mo fork? It is fairly inexpensive and strong.

hell yah! i have had mine for about 2 years now, and even after a whole crapload of botched 180s and other things, it is still running really well.

I like the sand color endless. It's schweet. The holzfeller pedals appear to be ridiculously low profile. I want some.

Nice setup with the urban fixie, but is it me or is the front end really raked out?

The parchment powder coating looks awesome. That's the best shot I've seen of it.

The endless is actually a one off done by Spectrum Powder Works in "curry". It's very close to the stock "tan" color (the parchment turned out to be nothing but textured white instead of the tan we thought it was supposed to be), but has a tad of moss in it.
The fixxie has the shortest free rigid fork I could find....for the most part it's a spare parts bike.
Tomarrow is the Endless's inaugural ride. Two big hills: a pair of 4000'ers and whathaveya....gotta find a donor brake by the morn!
Might should bring a camera, as there will be a full fleet of Lifetime's out on this particular group trail ride.

Drooool....I love your endless. Not the type of build I would do, but I love all endless'. I wanted one so bad, I couldn't find one used though.

I looked into the Kona DJ fork, but I think it's likely too short.

Sweet rides Marshall...wonder why they don't make bolt on track cogs? Would sure beat slipping lockrings and sheit. Oh, and brakes are for fakes, get some toestaps/clipless.

I'd be surprised if he still has that commuter bike as of today. When I went by Fred's shop yesterday...it was still exactly where that photo was taken. Which by the way is, of all places, is around behind the building(no windows) facing a quarter mile long downhill paved road. Marshall's shop door (no window)was closed and it was almost 7pm at night. The only way a thug wouldn't jack taht bike was if it was too f'ugly or they were too wasted to stay on it.

Bro, did you even know it was there? :( :( :(
