Hey I came across this Team Maxxis 5 Spot on Ebay and it raised some questions from me.

One - those look to be some kind of 6" rocker plates or something don't they? Also the shock looks longer than a stock 5 spot Romic doesn't it?

And a Boxxer up front with no front brake?

Just wondering if anyone might have some insight into this Mysterieous Maxxis Team 5 Spot

I emailed the seller and he said he got the bike like that and that he only rides it to the bars and back. WTF??

Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this one.

Sketchy. Those definitly aren't 5-spot plates. They look more like RFX plates to me.

The frame looks like a 2002 RFX. Check out the gusset up front and the diameter of the headtube.
It's not a 5-spot.

It's a forgivable mistake, since Turner doesn't put model name stickers on their bikes....

so..... IS is stolen? Would Bike karma get you if you won it? or does the guy really just ride it to the bar with a 7" old boxxer?? I think thats whats MMCG was wondering... althogh i know hes lookign for spot, not RFX... (among other things...)
