I have a column that contains 3100 rows of data (employee names, to be specfic). Many of the names repeat. How do I get the column to show me each name just once and hide the duplicate rows? I know there's got to be some kind of function that'll do this but I suck at Excel. I need to generate an e-mail list so I only want to see the names one time each.

Hmm...try this -

Select the entire column >

Data > Filter > Advance Filter > Check "Unique records only"
