During the RNC, Nicole Wallace, a high ranking McCain adviser, just disses the Time magazine Washington Bureau Chief, with a "Who Cares" what you think.
It would have been really funny to me if he was a Newsweek employee, but I think Wallace's message applies equally to all major news magazines, with this kind of response.

Actually, Palin looks pretty damn good. It's tough to say without seeing a high res photo, but she doesn't NEED much retouching.
Which is why, for any right wingers who are wondering, she got rushed into the national scene. When your entire appeal is the fact that some moms like you, and right wing wankers want to sniff your panties, you have to get off the shelf before your eggs dry up and your expiration date hits.
