I somehow erased my other thread, I must have thought I was deleting some other post...

Anyway, had an interview on Wed with a place I have been trying to get a job at for more than two years. They said thanks and they had 3 more interviews to do and to get back to them by next week.

Then they emailed me less than 24 hours later with an offer letter. :monkeydance:

Basically I'll be making the same money with WAY better benefits. (medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, employee purchase discounts, etc etc. This is huge, as the insurance I my current job has exceedingly high co-payments. Over all I will end up with much more money in my pocket per year.

The position is very similar to a job I used to have but with more room to grow. Plus it's only 4 miles from my house.

It's all about the ratio of stupid/competent people. It's really bad here.

Undoubtedly. I'm just pointing out that you'd find someone even if the ratio was good.

In any event, though, congrats :D
